Welcome to Lloyd Johnson Junior High! My name is Noah Gomez, and I am honored to serve as your principal. As a proud first-generation Mexican American college graduate, education has always been a driving force in my life. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and my teaching credential from Chico State before continuing my journey at Sacramento State, where I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership and my Administrative Credential. My career began in the classroom, where I spent seven years teaching before transitioning into administration. After serving as an administrator for the past seven years, I am thrilled to return to Pierce Joint Unified School District and support our incredible teachers and students in Arbuckle.
Beyond my passion for education, I am a proud husband, and father of five wonderful children, three boys and one girl who attend PJUSD, with my youngest son soon joining them. I believe in the power of community and the impact that strong educational foundations can have on future generations. My goal is to create a learning environment where all students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their dreams. At Lloyd Johnson Junior High, we believe that Together We Are Stronger, and by working as a team, students, families, and staff, we can create opportunities for success for every child. As Jaime Escalante, the legendary educator, once said, “Life is not about how many times you fall down. It’s about how many times you get back up.” I look forward to collaborating with our community to ensure that every student thrives!
